Colorado Mountain Lion Hunt

It is hard to beat this Colorado mountain lion hunt! Excellent off grid cabins. There are two cabins to work with depending on snow conditions and weather. Solar and generator power provide the camp with everything it needs. Excellent heat and running hot water makes these remote accommodations a peaceful retreat. Excellent meals are provided to keep you fueled up for a full day of looking for lion tracks.

Snow conditions change rapidly so the guides keep options open, looking for tracks in all types of terrain. We spend time on mountain ranges, valleys and even flat land looking for a good track. When we found a good track we dropped Tom and Tracker on the track and they were off. 5.6 miles later they had this beautiful tom treed.

This tom lion I was able to harvest weighed in at over 140 lbs. Take a look at the size of his paws and claws. They are warriors and are able to take down mature elk and deer with no problem. This hunt was an exciting fun packed trip. We spent our days in trucks and on snowmobiles covering 100 plus miles a day looking for a good track. When we weren't looking for tracks, we also spent time hunting coyote, fox, bobcat and rabbits. Don't miss out on this experience. Reach out to me today.

After Tom and Tracker get a lion treed, they get rewarded by spending the evening in the cabin to rest up. They are gentle hounds that love to lay on the couch after a hard day's work. These dogs are an excellent team and it is very impressive to watch them work the trail.
